Subject: TURFWORX's Commitment to Sustainability and PFAS Chemicals Compliance
At TURFWORX, we have always upheld a steadfast commitment to sustainability and the responsible sourcing of our products. This commitment extends to a meticulous focus on the material chemistry employed in our product lines, including those under the TURFWORX Turf brand.
Among the many substances we scrutinize and prioritize, PFAS (Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) chemicals are of particular concern. We insist that our supply partners disclose any presence of PFAS chemicals in the raw materials, components, and finished goods procured by our manufacturers.
We are pleased to inform you that, based on the information made available by our suppliers to date, TURFWORX does not employ PFAS chemicals that are currently listed under California's Proposition 65 regulations or recognized as target analytes in USEPA Methods for PFAS analysis, specifically Methods 533, 537, 3827, and Draft Method 1633. This assurance applies to the manufacturing of components used in our turf products.
